Backpacks: Our Childhood Bestfriends

Written by admin on Tuesday, March 15th, 2011 in Direct Post, Kids, Products.

Before anyone of us became who we are today, there was once upon a time when we all were little kids dragging ourselves to school. One of the things that were undeniably important to us was the backpacks that we wore. Backpacks can be considered our best friends since childhood. They kept our things safe and in place with the many materials we had to carry to school. Just imagine a day without them backpacks. Who would want to be seen walking to school carrying loads of books with both hands. It’s a hassle wherever we go (without bags). Now that we’ve grown and have born our offspring it’s time to pass the usability of bags in school. The market is full of bag products but most of them are poorly crafted. These backpacks are made from the finest embroideries that will surely endure the wild energies of our children.

Today, I’m not only celebrating my fifteenth birthday but also the launch of the new look of KidTechGuru which seems awesome and eye-catching by my fellow readers who had emailed me feedbacks about it. Guess what – I only thought of changing my theme yesterday night (Singapore time) and was trying very hard to rush it as soon as possible on the day of my birthday.

Despite the school Chinese New Year celebration in the morning and Chemistry tuition in the afternoon, I managed to finish it in just 2 hours. Of course, the blog design isn’t created by me as I don’t have the sharp skills and knowledge to design such a wonderful theme. Actually this theme is available for free for WordPress users but since I’m using the blogger-powered platform, I had no choice but to buy this Revolution Church Premium Blogger Template converted by eblogtemplates.

I’ve tweaked the theme a little to make it a perfect one. This new layout is quite similar to the previous one, just that I didn’t add a footer on the bottom of the page. Even though I’m already satisfied with my current theme, I’ll still continue to include more features in the days to come. Some readers prompted me about a question which I’ve pondered over for a very long time. Although switching to WordPress can boost more visitors, subscribers and looks more professional, but I don’t wish to move over now or soon due to some personal reasons. However, most likely I’ll switch over next year (on my birthday).

My blog traffic and Twitter followers have increased significantly since I started blogging 6 months ago and I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all my great readers and followers on Twitter for the wonderful support! With my high motivation, I’ll continue to strive my very best to share my personal experiences or apps on the Web and make KidTechGuru a place where Internet users and bloggers benefit from.
